Join us for our last breakfast of the year.
This event focuses on the vital role local governments can play in increasing housing supply and fostering diverse housing options to meet the needs of our growing population.
With decreasing affordability and supply, local governments have opportunity to be part of the solution to improve the housing market to be more inclusive and sustainable through a number of innovative approaches.
This breakfast will touch on strategies, policies, and collaborations in local government necessary to boost both the quantity and variety of housing in suburban areas.
We will showcase successful collaborations between local governments and the private sector that have led to diverse housing solutions with town centre areas, and hear about development feasibility, market influences and inputs/impacts of the planning framework.
Presenters will be speaking to the Leederville Major Land Transaction project which will see two carparks in Leederville transformed into transit-oriented mixed-use development after the City of Vincent approved the sale of land to developer Human-Urban.
