Join us for our final LGPA breakfast for the year where we will be talking about all things planning reform as we look ahead to 2024.
Minister for Planning the Hon John Carey MLA will be joining us for the first time to give and update on the recently announced reforms to the Planning and Development Act.
The reforms announced by the Minister focus on the need for Planning to adapt and change to deal with future market challenges and ensure housing supply for now and into the future.
We will then hear from Bianca Sandri, Director Community Services at the City of Bayswater and Michael Hancock, Manager Planning at Town of Claremont on what they believe local governments should start and stop doing to streamline processes and support planning reform initiatives.
These presentations will be followed by a Q&A session with the Minister, Bianca and Michael.
